Here is a bit of information about the leaders of 2nd Kimberley Scout Group. Currently there are five of us that attend on Thursday nights at the scout Group.
James Greenfield (Scout Leader)
James graduated from The Nottingham Trent University in 2002 with a second class first division BA (Hons) Business, Leisure and Sports Education degree. He has been involved with the group since 1986, initially as a Beaver, cub and a scout and more recently a leader. He received his warrant in 1998 and became an Assistant Scout Leader. Subsequently, he was promoted to Scout Leader in 2001.
Dawn Lane (Assistant Scout Leader)
Dawn is an undergraduate at Derby University studying towards a BA (Hons) Art degree. She has gained leadership experience from 4th Eastwood Brownies and has been a warranted Assistant Scout Leader since 2002.
Bob Greenfield (Helper)
Bob is a self-employed joiner by trade who has been connected to the group in a leader capacity since 1996. He has vast experience in scouting and is a warranted Scout Leader at 1st Hucknall Scout Group, a position he has maintained since 1999.
Paul Wheeler (Helper, web site designer)
Paul is a student at Bilborough College Studying A-Levels in English Language, Information Communication Technology, Business Studies and Psychology. Paul also holds a Silver Duke of Edinburgh award which was gained in 2002. He has been involved with the group since 1994 as a cub, a scout and a helper. He is also a member of the 2nd Kimberley Scout and Guide Band.
Richard Lovely (Helper)
Richard is a sixth form student at Kimberley Comprehensive School studying towards highly academic subjects. He has been involved in the group since he was a Beaver and is presently a Helper at 2nd Kimberley Scouts. Richard is also a member of the 2nd Kimberley Scout and Guide Band and plays the drum.
